The old 80's arcade game Gyrus used Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" for music. That's the easiest one I can think of.
There's actually a concert series called "Video Games Live" where an orchestra tours the country. They play a night of music found in video games. I saw the first season in L.A. (Steve Vai showed up and played a song, too).Classical music or anything similar found in games/anime etc..?
There's also "Play: a Video Game Symphony", and at least three different sets of symphonic music that is just Final Fantasy tunes ("Dear Friends" and "More Friends" were the first two).
The orchestrated version of the original version of One-Winged Angel (Final Fantasy 7) is fairly classical in style, and the lyrics were from a 13th Century German play. And while I don't know the name of the song, the Opera Scene in Final Fantasy 6 is very much opera music. And the old Atari 2600 game Mountain King used Edward Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" as its music.
For anime, the only thing that comes to mind is the opening theme of Elfen Lied.
