Those things in wars that people hide behind?

They look like giants jacks. They are on My Chemical Romance's The Ghost of You music video, and the game Medal of Honor: Frontline, so I'm assuming they were used in World War II. Anyone have any idea what they were called? Those things in wars that people hide behind?
"Hedgehogs" look like giant jacks made of angle-iron. They are used as barriers against landing craft (such as at Normandy) and vehicles.

I saw smaller hedgehogs being used as movable barriers in Kuwait, along with more permanent concrete tetrahedrons.

Are you talking about "hedgehogs"?
Take it you are referring to the obstacles the Germans had in the waters around Normandy. They had several versions, but they pretty effectively prevented the landing craft to get right up on the beach. The Germans also placed mines on them; so if you did happen into one while dodging fire the mine would detonate. There was one type called the Belgian Gate, but there were others as well. Those things in wars that people hide behind?
Well....when Muslims (like Hezbulla and Palestians) go to war what they hide behind is called.... 'women' and 'children'....
